George is a clinical psychologist, author, trainer, Adjunct Senior Lecture at Edith Cowan University and Director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute Western Australia.

His books are published in six languages and include Nature-Guided Therapy, 101 Healing Stories), Standing Without Shoes (with Dr Helen Street and a foreword by the Dalai Lama) and 101 Healing Stories for Kids and Teens.

He has taught throughout Australia as well as in Europe, Asia and America. His teaching and writing are characterised by a gentle sense of wit, wisdom and warmth.
